Current Ministry Opportunities

Small Group Ministries: If you'd like to attend or begin a small group please contact the church office.

Children's Ministries: Reaches out to the physical, spiritual, and emotional well being of our children through Sunday School, Arts and Crafts, Music, Object Lessons during Worship Services, and church and community mission projects.

NewHorizons Senior Ministries: Our ministry to those 60 and older includes visits, card ministry, phone calls, outings and events through out the year, and companionship.

LWML: This is a Women's Ministry called Lutheran Women's Missionary League which includes Bible study, conferences, local and global missions, and great fellowship. For a deeper explanation and guide, click here.

St. Stephen's Men's Fellowship: A ministry to Men through Bible studies, fellowship, and building and service projects within the church and within our community.

Nursery Care: This ministry reaches out with love and care to our infants and toddlers, and children under 5 during our worship services and other events.

Prayer Group: This group addresses needs of the church and our community through prayer and fellowship. If you have a passion for prayer or the gift of intercession this is a great way to get involved in the church.

Hospitality: Utilize your gift of hospitality to serve in after service fellowship, church receptions and other functions.

Ushers and Greeters: Probably one of the most important service opportunities. A gift of a few minutes of your time that nearly everyone can give on a Sunday morning, that provides so much to the church community.

Altar Guild: Members of the altar guild are “ministers of the liturgy”. This ministry involves preparing the worship space with the furnishings, vessels, elements, linens, and paraments used in the liturgy which enhance our worship experiences. All are welcome and encouraged to be a part of this very important ministry in our church where the gifts which God places in our lives can be exercised to bring glory to God and joy to those who serve.

Music Ministries: Do you have a love and passion for worship? Do you sing or play an instrument?

The goal of our music ministry is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through music and song, encourage believers in their walk with Christ, lead the congregation in worship and provide opportunities for individuals to share their musical gifts and be an integral part of the worship experience.

Anyone who feels called to play or sing, whether individually or with our choir or worship team, can join us in glorifying God through inspiring music and song.

We are always looking for:
Singers for the choir or worship team
Guitar players or other stringed instruments
Drummers or other percussionists
Brass or reeds
Sound and other media techs
