Bible Studies
40 Days of Purpose Small Group Bible Studies
These groups meet at 7PM on different days of the week. Call the church office to get the name, address and phone number of the leader of the study you are interested in:
Monday: Every week at various homes by various members
Tuesday: Held and hosted by John & Mary Ann Stewart on the 1st & 3rd week in the month and hosted by Eleanor Kruse and held at Sequoia Springs 2nd & 4th week in the month
Thursday: Held and hosted by Dennis & Pat Rowe’s on the 2nd & 4th week of the month and held at various homes, hosted by Beverly Hansen on the 2nd & 4th week of the month
Saturday Mornings
(Men's Bible Study)
St. Stephen's Warriors: This is a men's Bible study that meets
the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month from 8AM to
about 9AM at the Church. This men's group shares breakfast and studies various books of
the NIV (New International Version) Bible.
Sunday Morning
Adult Bible study starts every Sunday morning
in the fellowship hall from 9AM to about 9:45.
New beginings class is for those who are just starting out in their walk with Christ also from 9AM to 9:45.
Pre-school through High School classes also start at 9AM.
Adult Sunday School
Adult Bible study starts every Sunday morning in
the fellowship hall at about 9:00 to about 9:45.
Children's Sunday School
Children's Sunday School is held every Sunday
morning from about 9:00 to 9:45 in the Sunday School rooms next to the
Church. There are classes for various age groups including Nursery
(infant-5 years), 5-7, 8-12, 13-17 (youth). Click HERE for pictures of our

Young Adults
St. Mark's is building a new Youth program.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Invisible Sunday School
An outreach program for children of the Ferndale and Fortuna communities.
Each week packets are assembled containing:
A Bible story with picture to color
A Psalm relative to the story
A Picture of an animal from the Bible
A small box of crayons.
Packets are then distributed to various businesses, who are willing to display
them for pick-up.
Friendly Visitors
An outreach to the housebound elderly and/or
sick. Weekly visits are made by a few members, to comfort and encourage
those not able to attend worship services. Services will be
taped and distributed to those wishing to hear the sermon and the reading of
Scriptures.
Confirmation
Youth confirmation is held every Tuesday afternoon
at 2:30 at the Parsonage (740 Berding Street, directly across from the
Church). Confirmation classes are scheduled to run from April through
June.
